Fernando Fiore (born in Argentina) is a Hispanic television sportscaster. He is the host of Republica Deportiva and has anchored Univision's FIFA World Cup coverage in 1998, 2002, 2006, and 2010. Previously, he hosted the Univision travel show Fuera de Serie with Sofía Vergara and was the original host of Lente Loco before being replaced by Raymond Arrieta in 1997. He was part of the cast of the movie "True Lies" in 1994. He also worked in Caracol Radio in 1998.
Fiore, a three-time Emmy Award winner, is also the author of The World Cup: The Ultimate Guide to the Greatest Sports Spectacle in the World.[1]
Fernando Fiore's grandparents were born in Italy (paternal side) and Spain (maternal side). His mother was from Uruguay and his father from Argentina.
